Qualified Diagnostic/Nuclear Medical Physicist

Certified by the American Board of Radiology in Diagnostic Medical Physics, American Board of Medical Physics, or the American Board of Health Physics.

The qualified Diagnostic/Nuclear Medical Physicist shall conduct equipment inspections or quality control surveys of the imaging equipment listed below. The qualified Diagnostic/Nuclear Medical Physicist shall ensure the imaging equipment’s compliance with applicable Federal regulations and ACR recommendations, and shall include, at minimum, monitoring the following basic performance characteristics.

Land Surveying - USDA Natural Resources Conservation Applicant shall be licensed and registered in the State of Delaware to perform legal boundary surveys and re-surveys of easements under the Agricultural Conservation Easement Program components: Wetland Reserve Easements (WRE), Emergency Watershed Protection Program-Floodplain Easements (EWPP-FPE); Health Forest Reserve Program (HFRP); and all Farm Bill 2018 Regional Conservation Partnership Program (RCPP) U.S. held easements, RCPP-HRFP, and RCPP-WRE easements.

Diagnostic Medical Physicist Position requires a Diagnostic Medical Physicist for the Baltimore, Perry Point, and Loch Raven VA Medical Centers to test, inspect, calibrate, and review the system(s) to ensure they are safe for patient use and produce images that meet set standards.

National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC) Atmosphere Support (ATMOS) Analyst. The responsibility of this requirement is research support that conducts a comprehensive atmospheric science research and technology development program directed towards observing, monitoring, characterizing, modeling, understanding, and advancing knowledge of the Earth’s atmosphere. The applicant will facilitate a research program is aimed at understanding the structure, dynamics, and radiative properties of clouds, aerosols, and precipitation; understanding atmospheric chemistry, especially the role of natural and anthropogenic trace species on the ozone balance in the stratosphere and troposphere; understanding the influence of solar variability on the Earth’s climate; and advancing our understanding of the physical properties of the Earth’s atmosphere including its interaction with the Earth’s surface. The work will be performed onsite at NASA GSFC.
